'Best investment': Man Travels 23 Million Miles Using Lifetime Airline Pass, Covers Over 100 Countries
Stuker once spent 12 consecutive days without sleeping in a bed. From Newark, he travelled to San Francisco, Bangkok, and Dubai back to back, which is equivalent of four trips around the world.
Tom Stuker, a 69-year-old US citizen from New Jersey has flown more miles than any individual in history since he purchased a lifetime pass from United Airlines 30 years ago. The car dealership consultant had bought the pass in 1990 from United Airlines for $290,000. Over the decades, he has been making the most of this interesting investment he made, and has flown millions of miles till now, reported the Washington post. Stuker calls it the "best investment" of his life till date.
The pass which is longer in existence, allows passengers to fly first class in any of the United Airlines flight across the world.
With the help of the pass, Stuker has flown 23 million miles (37 million kilometers) so far, which is more miles than any individual travelled in history. The highest amount of flights taken was in 2019, when he made 373 trips and covered 1.46 million miles. Had he travelled the same without the pas, it would have cost him $2.44 million.

According to Washington Post, Stuker once spent 12 consecutive days without sleeping in a bed. The only time he wasn’t flying during the period was spent at the airport lounges.
The 69 years old has explored 100 countries and been on over 120 honeymoons with his wife.
The perks of having this lifetime pass from United Airlines is not limited to travel but also got to stay at lavish hotels, and enjoyed weeks-long Crystal cruises, and gourmet meals from "Perth to Paris".
Stuker also won a charity auction to appear in a Seinfeld episode by bidding 451,000 air miles, the Post reported.
