A man's reckless train stunt for an Instagram Reel went awry, leaving him dangling outside the speeding train.
A man's attempt to perform stunts on a moving train for his Instagram Reels went horribly wrong after he ended up dangling on the speeding train.
A video of the incident that has gone viral on social media shows the young man losing his balance and hanging from the exterior of the train's window.
The footage is reportedly from Uttar Pradesh where the train was travelling from Kasganj to Kanpur.
The video captures the man clinging to the hand of another passenger as the train hurtles through the countryside. Fortunately, a disaster was averted when they came to a halt shortly after, allowing the man to disembark safely.
The stunt could have proved fatal for the man had the train not stopped or if the man had lost his grip and fallen from the speeding train.

Cops Instruct To Look Into The Matter
As the video went viral, the ADG zone Kanpur directed the Government Railway Police UP (GRP) on X to look into the issue. The GRP tagged Superintendent of Police, GRP Agra, directing them to further probe the incident.

Netizens Condemn The Incident
The netizens slammed the man for his actions as one of them said, "There was no need to take such a risk."
"Risking life for a Reel is not worth it! Glad he was saved, but hope this serves as a lesson—safety should always come first," said another user on X.
"I don't know what happened to people, they are putting their lives at risk under the influence of reel," said a third user.
A social media user suggested that security personnel should be present to watch out for these people.
