TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy Writes Letter To Cadre, Says Some Leaders Deserted Party

Revanth Reddy appealed to the cadre to work for the victory of the party candidate Palvai Sravanthi Reddy during the by-election.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy, in an open letter to the Congress cadre, said that some leaders who came to prominence and unprecedented political heights had betrayed the party.

The TPCC president said the BJP and the ruling TRS were hatching conspiracies to destroy the Congress.“All efforts are being made to corner Congress. Unfortunately, leaders who rose to fame and new political heights have betrayed us,” Revanth Reddy said.

In addition, he said that the BJP-led government in the national capital was abusing the CRPF and the Election Commission, and he urged the cadre to use the Munugode byelection to give the BJP and TRS a proper lesson.

Revanth Reddy appealed to the cadre to work for the victory of the party candidate Palvai Sravanthi Reddy during the by-election. He claimed that the BJP unnecessarily brought up communal concerns to divert public attention. As a result, the common person was having difficulty. He said the cadre should expose the failures of the State and Central governments during the campaign.

Earlier, Revanth Reddy claimed that the BJP and TRS were complicit in a plot to remove him as PCC chairman and kill the Congress in Telangana. This is not my property, so why is there a plot to have me removed? he questioned.

He appealed people to reject the money politics of the TRS and BJP said the Congress could not match the ugly distribution of money to ‘buy’ votes.

He said the Election Commission had not even cared about their complaint of pushing Congress behind the TRS in the ballot box serial number despite being a national party.
