Telangana Extends Holidays For Educational Institutes Till Jan 30 Amid Surge In Covid Cases

New Delhi: Amid an increase of Covid cases in Telangana, the state Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Sunday tweeted the government's decision of extending the vacations for all educational institutions except for medical colleges in the state till January 30.
This comes a fortnight after the government has declared holidays for all the schools and colleges from January 8-16. According to the earlier decision by the Telangana government, all the schools and colleges in the state are slated to resume functioning from Monday (January 17). But now the vacations have been extended till Sunday (January 30).

Holidays have now been Extended till 30th January So the chances of Mids Online are very High and Online classes may continue

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the state has recorded 1,963 new Coronavirus cases. The active caseload in Telangana has surged to over 22,000 of which nearly 17,000 cases are reported in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
