Realme has officially announced plans to introduce two new handsets in the Indian market: the Realme 13 Pro 5G and Realme 13 Pro+ 5G, which are slated to make their debut on July 30. The upcoming realme 13 Pro+ 5G is set to incorporate advanced HYPERIMAGE+ imaging technology, as announced by the company. This device will feature a high-resolution 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), utilising the pioneering Sony LYT-701 sensor. Additionally, it will include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens equipped with the Sony LYT-600 sensor, capable of 3x optical soom. In a collaboration, Realme has partnered with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA) to design the Realme 13 Pro Series. The company states that the device's aesthetic draws inspiration from the Impressionist movement, particularly the works of the renowned artist Claude Monet.
Global Smartphone Market Sees Biggest Growth In 3 Years
The global smartphone market saw a significant upturn in the second quarter (Q2) of 2024, with sales increasing by six per cent compared to the same period last year. This growth was largely attributed to the popularity of smartphones equipped with generative AI capabilities. According to analysts at Counterpoint Research noted Q2's growth represents the most substantial growth the industry has witnessed in three years.
