What's Google Doodle Showing In India?
In an exclusive Doodle for India, Google celebrates the beginning of the 2025 Twenty20 Women's Premier League tournament.

This is what Google wrote in its blog:
"This Doodle celebrates the start of the 2025 Twenty2020 Women’s Premier League cricket season. It’s one of the most notable developments in women’s cricket history, providing a high-profile platform for female players to show off their athleticism and talents.
While only recently founded in 2023, the franchise is already attracting viewership from around the world. There are currently five teams in the franchise, all from India. Throughout the regular season, each team faces the others twice in a double round-robin format. The top-ranking team automatically makes it to the finals, while the second and third seeds compete in the playoffs to secure the chance to win the title.
The future is bright for women’s cricket. Good luck to all the teams competing!"
Women's Premier League will begin today and will continue until March 15. For the first time, WPL will be held in four different venues. These include: Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face off against Gujarat Giants in the the inaugural match.
