Vivo S19, S19 Pro Launch Set For May 30: Check Out Specifications, Feaures

Vivo S19 and Vivo Watch GT are set to break cover soon. Following the launch of the Vivo S18 series last year, which boasted AMOLED screens and high-resolution cameras, Vivo has now officially confirmed the imminent arrival of the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro models, along with the much-anticipated Vivo Watch GT.

Teasing fans through its various social media platforms, Vivo has been dropping hints about the design and capabilities of its upcoming handsets. With the launch date set, eager consumers can mark their calendars for May 30, when the unveiling event is scheduled to take place at 7 pm CST Asia (4:30 pm IST).

Vivo S19 Specifications (Expected)

For the Vivo S19 series, the company's recent teasers showcased the Aura light rear camera setup, boasting support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). According to official announcements, both the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro will be available in a range of attractive colours, including Misty Green, Peach Blossom Fan, and Qianshan Green.

Moreover, Vivo has treated its audience with a glimpse of the camera prowess of the upcoming devices by sharing camera samples on Weibo, highlighting the advanced imaging capabilities of the sensors. Notably, the Vivo S19 duo is said to feature a full-focus portrait camera with five different focal lengths, promising exceptional photography experiences.

Adding to the excitement, Jia Jingdon, Vice President of Vivo, disclosed that the Vivo S19 series will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera, along with a 50-megapixel Sony telephoto portrait camera, raising the bar for smartphone photography.

While specific details about the Vivo S19 series specifications are still under wraps, speculations suggest that both models will sport generous 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays. The standard variant might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, while the Pro model could feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. In terms of battery capacity, expectations are high, with the standard model rumoured to house a massive 6,000mAh battery, while the Pro variant might come with a slightly smaller 5,500mAh battery. Additionally, both models are anticipated to support blazing-fast 80W fast charging technology, ensuring minimal downtime for users.

As the countdown to the launch event begins, enthusiasts and tech aficionados alike eagerly await the official unveiling of the Vivo S19 series and the Vivo Watch GT, poised to set new benchmarks in the realm of smartphone innovation and wearable technology.
