Reliance Launches JioBharat V3, JioBharat V4 4G Feature Phones Under Rs 1,100. Here's How They Stack Up Against Rivals

JioBharat V3, JioBharat V4 will compete directly with the likes of Lava A1 Josh (priced at Rs 899) and even refurbished models such as Nokia 105 Classic (Rs 976).

Reliance Jio has expanded its JioBharat lineup with the introduction of two new 4G feature phones, the JioBharat V3 and V4. Following the success of the JioBharat V2 released last year, these latest models aim to usher India’s 2G users into the world of faster connectivity and enhanced digital experiences.

JioBharat V3, JioBharat V4 Price In India

Both models are priced competitively at Rs 1,099, accompanied by a monthly recharge plan of Rs 123 that offers unlimited voice calls and 14 GB of data. This pricing structure is designed to help users save approximately 40 per cent compared to rival offerings, according to the company.

At that price point, JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4 will compete directly with Lava A1 Josh (priced at Rs 899), Micromax X1i Smart Plus (Rs 998), Vox V16 (Rs 791), Itel 2175 Pro (Rs 999), and even a few refurbished models such as Nokia 105 Classic (Rs 976) and Motorola A10 (Rs 985).

While most of the above models are typical feature phones with seemingly similar features, the new JioBharat models come bundled with some Reliance-exclusive benefits such as Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Pay, and Jio Chat, which others immediately won't.

Consumers can expect to find the JioBharat V3 and V4 available soon in retail stores and online through platforms like JioMart and Amazon.

In contrast, the JioBharat V4 emphasises a premium, minimalist look, targeting those who seek quality in their devices. Pre-loaded with Jio’s array of exclusive digital services, these devices enable users to enjoy a wide range of entertainment and connectivity options. Key features include:

  • Jio TV: Access to over 455 live TV channels for news, shows, and sports
  • Jio Cinema: A platform for movies and sports, allowing users to enjoy entertainment on the go
  • Jio Pay: A simplified digital payment solution integrated with UPI and featuring an in-built sound box to promote financial accessibility
  • Jio Chat: A messaging service that supports unlimited voice messages, photo sharing, and group chats to keep users connected

Both models are built with a 1,000 mAh battery, ensuring reliable all-day usage. For those requiring extra storage, the JioBharat V3 and V4 support expandable memory of up to 128 GB, accommodating apps, photos, and videos. Additionally, with support for 23 Indian languages, these phones are designed to be inclusive, catering to the diverse linguistic landscape of the country.
