Realme GT 7 Pro Rumoured To Sport Ultrasonic In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner & Periscope Camera
According to reports, the Realme GT 7 Pro might hit the market with a 6,000 mAh battery.
Chinese smartphone maker Realme is rumoured to launch the all-new Realme GT 7 Pro by the end of this year. As per rumours, it is likely to sport Qualcomm's upcoming next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The chipset is expected to hit the markets in October hence the launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro is also likely to be after that. Notably, it won't be the first phone to hit the Chinese market with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset as Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro which are expected to launch in October are also expected to feature this chipset.
However, the Realme GT 7 Pro is still likely to be the first smartphone to hit the global markets with this chipset. By the end of the year, Realme is expected to release the Realme GT 7 Pro in both India and China. Considering that the Realme GT 5 Pro was announced last December, the GT 7 Pro is likely to be launched around the same time this year. Here are some details of the device that have surfaced in recent leaks.
Realme GT 7 Pro: Specifications (Expected)
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature an ultra-large battery. For comparison, the Realme GT 5 Pro packed a 5,400mAh battery, suggesting that the GT 7 Pro may come with a battery of around 6,000 mAh.
The tipster also stated that the Realme GT 7 Pro will include a periscope telephoto camera like its predecessor. Another tipster, Smart Pikachu, indicated that the GT 7 Pro will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, potentially making it Realme’s first phone to have this advanced fingerprint scanning technology.
Realme GT 6 Release
As per reports, Realme is also working on two versions of the Realme GT 6 — one to launch globally and one for China. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 powering the global model may go official on June 20.
The Chinese variant still seems up in the air, though it may come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip when it is announced in July. However, the Realme GT 6, when sold in China, will likely see competition from the likes of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, and the Redmi K70 Ultra, all in the pipeline for July.
