Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro To Be Unveiled Tomorrow: From Price In India To Specifications, Here's All You Need To Know

The Poco X7 series is gearing up to make a strong debut in the Indian smartphone market, kicking off 2025 with one of the year's first major launches. This lineup includes the Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro, and a special Iron Man Edition, all aimed at the mid-range segment with performance-driven features and near-flagship-level specifications.

Here's what you need to know about the much-anticipated launch, scheduled for January 9.

Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro: Price In India, Availability (Expected)

The Poco X7 Pro is expected to cost under Rs 30,000, positioning it similarly to the Poco X6 Pro, which launched at Rs 26,999 for its base variant. Meanwhile, the standard Poco X7 is anticipated to be priced below Rs 20,000, offering a compelling choice for budget-conscious buyers seeking premium features.

Poco has officially announced that the X7 series will be introduced in India on January 9, 2025. The global unveiling will take place during a livestreamed event starting at 5:30 pm IST. Following the launch, the devices will be available for purchase on Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce platforms. The livestream can also be viewed on POCO Global’s official YouTube channel.

Poco X7: Specifications (Expected)

The Poco X7 series brings a unique blend of design and performance, starting with the standard Poco X7, which features a striking dual-tone aesthetic in black and yellow with a leather finish.

Its 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, ensuring sharp visuals and smooth navigation. Additionally, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor for added convenience.

The device is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for enhanced speed and efficiency. It includes a dual-camera setup led by a 50MP OIS sensor, promising impressive photography capabilities.

Poco X7 Pro: Specifications (Expected)

The Poco X7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, delivering robust performance for gaming and multitasking. Similar to its standard counterpart, the Pro version features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Notably, it will be the first device in India to run HyperOS 2.0, Poco’s new custom operating system.

The Pro model also includes a dual-camera system, headlined by a 50MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for crisp, stable images. 

It boasts a 6,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging, making it ideal for users on the go.

For Marvel fans, the POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition stands out with its bold red design accented with gold. The back panel showcases the POCO logo alongside the Avengers emblem, with the iconic Iron Man branding prominently displayed in the centre, making it a collector’s item for superhero enthusiasts.
