Samsung Galaxy Unpacked To See Launch Of 4 S25 Phones? Official Teaser Appears To Confirm The Same

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim could be a reality, if Samsung's latest teaser is anything to go by.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place on January 22, and excitement is already brewing. A teaser image released by the tech giant appears to hint at a mysterious fourth device, believed to be the rumoured Galaxy S25 Slim.

What Did Samsung Tease?

Traditionally, Samsung's flagship Galaxy S series includes three models: the standard version, the Plus variant, and the Ultra. However, speculation is rife that a fourth model — reportedly called the Galaxy S25 Slim — might join the lineup this year. The teaser image, which shows the corners of four distinct devices, has sparked curiosity about whether this slim variant will make its debut at the event.

Reports are divided on the launch timeline. While some suggest the Galaxy S25 Slim might be released alongside the other models at the January event, others believe it could arrive later in 2025. Adding to the intrigue, the recent One UI 7 beta code referenced the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra but made no mention of the Slim model.

What We Know About Galaxy S25 Slim

Leaks and database entries have provided a glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Slim’s potential features. The device is rumoured to feature a 6.66-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, placing it close to the Plus variant in terms of screen size. Its design is expected to be exceptionally slim, with reports suggesting a thickness of around 6.x mm. This would make it notably thinner than the Galaxy S24, which measures 7.6 mm.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, consistent with the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup. Despite its slim profile, the phone is rumoured to house a battery capacity ranging between 4,700mAh and 5,000mAh, a significant upgrade compared to the 4,000mAh battery of the Galaxy S24.

The camera setup on the Galaxy S25 Slim is also expected to impress. Leaks suggest it could feature a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, offering a versatile photography experience.

These rumoured features have heightened expectations for the Galaxy S25 Slim, though its official unveiling remains uncertain. Fans will need to wait for the Galaxy Unpacked event or further announcements from Samsung to confirm these details.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: India Availability

Samsung has announced that pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25 series are open in India, hinting that the Slim variant if unveiled, will also reach the Indian market.

While these details remain speculative, all eyes are on the Galaxy Unpacked event to see if Samsung reveals its slimmest Galaxy device yet. Until then, fans will have to wait for more official updates from the company.
