Among the much-expected enhancements are advancements in camera, the implementation of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, among other upgrades. A latest leak suggests that Google may incorporate displays using rival Samsung's M14 OLED technology in their next-generation Pixel smartphones. 

Pixel 9 Display Details Leaked

According to information from an insider at Google, as reported by Android Authority, the display modifications planned for the Pixel 9 series have been leaked. This exclusive preview offers a glimpse into the screen-related improvements that users can expect from these forthcoming devices.

The upcoming Google Pixel 9 line is said to feature displays incorporating Samsung's latest M14 OLED material. This advancement represents the newest iteration in the constantly evolving landscape of OLED technology. According to reports from ET News, the M14 OLED technology is expected to offer significant improvements in two key areas:

Enhanced Brightness: Users may experience brighter, more vibrant displays.

Improved Longevity: The new material could extend the lifespan of the display.

Meanwhile, the implementation of M14 OLED technology is not limited to Google's Pixel lineup. Apart from the Pixel 9 series, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro is also expected to feature M14 OLED screens. The Samsung Galaxy S24, on the other hand, uses the previous generation M13 technology.

Recent information from regulatory documents and unofficial sources suggests that Google is preparing to introduce a quartet of new smartphone models in the near future. The lineup is expected to include the standard Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, an expanded Pixel 9 Pro XL variant, and a foldable device dubbed the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Notably, this year, Google will unveil its Pixel lineup earlier than the traditional launch cycle.
