Western Digital on Thursday, July 25, launched new high-capacity portable hard drives to its product lineup in India. The company now offers 6TB models across its WD, WD_BLACK, and SanDisk Professional brands, setting a new benchmark for storage in 2.5-inch portable HDDs. Among the new offerings is the WD My Passport Portable HDD, which now comes in a 6TB variant.

This storage option is particularly suitable for travellers and outdoor enthusiasts who require substantial space for backing up their data while on the move.
