The launch of the Infinix Smart 8 may be around the corner as its specifications were recently spotted online. Infinix's upcoming Smart 8 has bagged certifications from TDRA and FCC and the device has also made an appearance on the Geekbench platform. Also, the device's key specifications surfaced on the Google Play Console certification website, further indicating an imminent launch. The Smart 8 is likely to follow the footsteps of the Infinix Smart 7, which was introduced in February earlier this year.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Infinix Smart 8 was recently spotted on the Google Play Console website that revealed a few design renders showcasing its front panel. Notably, the device features a center-aligned hole-punch slot at the top of the screen to accommodate the front camera. There are slim bezels surrounding the display, with a slightly thicker chin. On the right edge of the handset, there's the power button and volume rockers.

According to the listing, the Infinix Smart 8 is likely to sport an HD+ display with a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the device likely to be powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone is liekly to run on Android 13, as per the listing.

The FCC certification has previously revealed key details about the Infinix Smart 8, including a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. The phone's dimensions are expected to be 164 x 76 x 9 mm, and the device will offer 4G LTE connectivity.
