Is Elon Musk Eyeing YouTube After Twitter? His Latest Tweets Create Buzz

Elon Musk recently issued a warning to terminate terminate the $44 -billion deal to take over Twitter Inc if the microblogging site fails to provide data on spam and fake accounts. 

New Delhi: Tesla and SpaceX chief Elon Musk’s latest tweets seem to hint that after Twitter, the entrepreneur’s next target could be video sharing platform YouTube. In a tweet posted by him on Tuesday, he said that the advertisements that feature on Google's video sharing platform are a “nonstop scam”. 

“YouTube seems to be nonstop scam ads,” the American-South African-Canadian entrepreneur tweeted. 

In another tweet shared by him just minutes later, Musk shared a meme patrick meme mocking YouTube’s content policy hinting that the platform takes action when inappropriate language is used in any of the videos uploaded but remains indifferent to “obvious scam ads all over the site”. 

Twitter users were quick to respond to his post with several of them already advising to “buy it”. 

Musk’s much-talked deal with Twitter seems to be navigating towards a termination as the Tesla CEO issued a warning on Monday saying that he would terminate the $44 -billion deal to take over Twitter Inc if the microblogging site fails to provide data on spam and fake accounts. 

In a letter written to the company on Monday, Musk stated that the social media platform was in a “clear material breach” of its obligations and that he reserves all rights to terminate the merger contract.
