This New AI Tool In Adobe Will Let You Edit 10,000 Images At Once
Currently launched in beta, Bulk Create is available through two separate tools on Adobe’s Firefly web app i.e., 'Remove Background' and 'Resize'.
Adobe is unveiling innovative generative AI tools designed to simplify time-consuming tasks like editing large image collections and translating video presentations. Among the most noteworthy is “Firefly Bulk Create,” a feature that enables users to resize up to 10,000 images or swap their backgrounds with a single click, eliminating the need for manual edits on individual files.
Built using Adobe’s Firefly-powered APIs, this tool aims to make advanced AI technology accessible to non-technical users. Currently launched in beta, Bulk Create is available through two separate tools on Adobe’s Firefly web app i.e., 'Remove Background' and 'Resize', reported The Verge.

Adobe's Bulk Remove Background & Resize Feature
The Remove Background tool allows users to quickly upload image files from their computer, Dropbox, or Adobe Experience Manager and seamlessly eliminate image backgrounds. It’s particularly useful for product marketers, as it also provides the option to replace backgrounds with custom images or colors specified by HEX codes, creating ready-to-edit variations.
Files processed through these tools can be saved in PNG or JPEG formats, with support for Photoshop PSD files expected in future updates. Adobe’s latest advancements highlight its commitment to equipping creatives with AI-powered solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Adobe’s 'Resize' tool is introducing preset options tailored for popular platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, simplifying the process of resizing images for ads and social media posts. By leveraging generative AI, the tool stretches image backgrounds to fit specific dimensions. However, in some demos, the results were less than ideal, with noticeable distortions, such as blurred and duplicated foreground elements.
Despite this, the feature holds promise for straightforward backgrounds, saving graphic designers significant time by automating resizing tasks for various platforms. While competitors like Canva and Adobe Express offer similar functionalities, Adobe’s Bulk Create stands out by enabling batch resizing with just one click.
Given the computational demands of processing large batches—up to 10,000 images—Adobe plans to introduce a usage-based pricing model. According to The Verge, users will likely need a premium Adobe Firefly subscription, which offers generative credits to access and utilize these features.
