AI image generation in PDFs is no longer a thing of the future. Adobe has announced a substantial enhancement to its Acrobat PDF editor and viewer. The upgrade focuses on bolstering the capabilities of the AI Assistant feature, initially launched in February this year. This AI Assistant introduced functionalities such as AI-generated summaries and a responsive chatbot designed to answer queries related to extensive documents.

Features include background removal and minor image adjustments, all processed by Adobe's generative AI models, which the company asserts are privacy-conscious and designed not to compromise user data.

Integrate Document Types

This enhancement will enable users to upload and analyse multiple documents simultaneously, a departure from the previous focus on individual file analysis. Users will also be able to integrate various document types, including Word and PowerPoint files, into the AI chatbot interface.
