57-Year-Old Mother Confesses Killing Of Tipsy Son, Says Smashed His Head With Stone

Upset over verbal and physical abuse, the mother kills her son in Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu.

Tirupattur: A mother's gruesome deed has shocked the neighbourhood in Ambur as the woman kills her son with stone.

Shocking confession

The 57-year-old woman, who was upset over her son’s drinking habit and quarreling nature, killed her drunken son by smashing his head with a heavy stone. She has confessed that she stoned her son to death as she was harassed by his verbal and physical abuse.

Criminal record

Sivakumar, 36, a construction worker from Periyankuppam, near Ambur in Tirupattur district, was facing several charges for harassing people, quarreling with neighbours, and causing damage to the public property, etc.

Killed while sleeping

He is survived by his wife Gauri, 2 sons and a daughter. Sivakumar, who was sleeping on the porch outside the house on Thursday night, was found dead in a pool of blood on Friday morning. Later, the Ambur police were informed about the incident.

Police rushed to the spot and recovered Sivakumar's body and sent it to Ambur Government Hospital for autopsy. Tirupattur District Superintendent of Police CP Chakraborty and Ambur Deputy Superintendent of Police Saravanan also visited the spot to inquire into the case. The police also brought a sniffer dog to investigate the murder case.

Though Sivakumar's mother Rajeshwari has confessed to the crime, police did not find any harmful weapon in the surroundings when cops enquired about they came to know that she cleaned the stone she used to kill her son.
