'Will Give Equal Representation To All': Asaduddin Owaisi Announces AIMIM UP Election Plan

UP Assembly Election 2022: Owaisi said that every society, every fraternity has a political representative in Uttar Pradesh. Muslims should also have an independent voice in the state.

New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday said that his party will contest 100 seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls. While making bold claims, Asaduddin Owaisi said that his party will also "give tickets to Hindus" for contesting elections.

"For 60 years we have helped others win. Now we'll win. The Muslims of Uttar Pradesh will win. We will contest 100 seats in the 2022 Assembly Elections," the Lok Sabha MP said.

AIMIM chief said AIMIM will contest the UP Assembly elections by taking everyone along.

"Hindus will be given tickets. OBCs and Dalits are our brothers. We will give equal representation to everyone and we've also received a lot of applications," he said during his speech.

87% Of BJP MPs Facing Serious Charges: Owaisi

On inclusion of muscleman Atiq Ahmed and his wife in AIMIM, Owaisi raised questions against BJP and accused that 87 percent of the saffron party's MPs are facing serious charges.

Owaisi said that if someone's name is Pragya, Suresh, Kapil, Kuldeep, then he is a "popular leader" but someone by the name of Mukhtar and Atiq is called "Baahubali".

On the question of replacing Faizabad with Ayodhya on AIMIM posters and hoardings, Owaisi said there is no dispute. "We have written Ayodhya as well as Faizabad. Ayodhya comes in Faizabad parliamentary constituency," he said.
