'Would Contest And Win 100 Seats': AIMIM Chief Owaisi Makes Big Claim Ahead Of UP Polls 2022
On the question of an alliance with SP and BSP during Uttar Pradesh elections, Asaduddin Owaisi said, "We are ready to discuss political alliance, provided these parties reach out to us."
UP Assembly Election 2022: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has made a big claim in UP's capital Lucknow, ahead of his visit to Ayodhya. He claimed, "We would contest and win 100 seats in UP. The state has entertained a number of incompetent governments in the past 60 years, it is time the state gets the government it deserves."
On the question of an alliance with SP and BSP during Uttar Pradesh elections, Asaduddin Owaisi said, "We are ready to discuss political alliance, provided these parties reach out to us. We won't be reaching out to any of these parties for the alliance."
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi hit out at SP and BSP by saying that these parties always used Muslims as pawns to win elections. He claimed that the condition of Muslims in UP is quite unfortunate and is deteriorating day by day.
Meanwhile, UP police have put stickers on a poster that had Faizabad written on it, ahead of Owaisi's public meeting in Ayodhya. According to the police, the name of the district has been changed, so writing Faizabad as the district name is unnecessary.
On the other hand, UP Minister Brijesh Pathak took a jibe at Mayawati's 'Prabuddh' conference and Owaisi's Ayodhya visit.
He said, "Just like off-season rain, the opposition is making pointless noise. BSP's agenda is against Pseudo-Brahmins."
Samajwadi Party MP from Moradabad, ST Hasan targeted Owaisi by saying that both Owaisi and BJP are trying to create a caste-based divide among people.
