After Nagpur, Tension Simmers In Maharashtra's Dharashiv After Man Shares Aurangzeb’s Picture On Social Media Status
The recent incident comes days after large-scale stone pelting and arson were reported in several parts of Vidarbha's largest city after rumours began circulating about a ‘chadar' with holy inscriptions being burnt during protests led by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) seeking the removal of Aurangzeb's tomb.

A young man in Maharashtra's Dharashiv district posted a picture of Aurangzeb on his social media status. This led to outrage among Hindu organizations. As a result, a road blockade protest took place in the Narangwadi village of Umarga tehsil, with demands for action against the youth.
According to media reports, police are present at the site, but the atmosphere remains tense. The protest occurred near the Narangwadi junction on the Umarga-Latur highway.
