If smaller parties like BSP and Aam Aadmi Party are able to garner a vote share of 3-5 per cent in the polls, they may also play a significant role.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the face of the elections for the BJP other than previous CM Raman Singh, the Congress will wager on current CM Bhupesh Baghel with Rahul Gandhi being one of the star campaigners. The Chhattisgarh mandate will be vital -- for both the BJP and the Congress -- as it will establish the vibe for the 2024 Lok Sabha, in which the saffron party will look for a third term for the NDA.
The ABP News-Matrize Opinion Poll was conducted between March 7 and 22. It was conducted in all 90 assembly constituencies of Chhattisgarh via Random Sampling Quantitative Data Collection by means of Field Survey and Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI). The survey was conducted among 27,000 participants with an error margin of +/- 3%
