Yuvraj is a lion, he doesn't eat grass: Yugraj on his son being a drug-addict

New Delhi: Former Indian Cricketer Yograj Singh has rubbished the allegations of his son Yuvraj being a drug addict. A popular TV show contestant, Akansha Sharma had created a lot buzz when she accused Indian Cricketer and brother-in-law Yuvraj Singh of indulging in drugs. Akansha was married to Zoravar Singh, brother of Yuvraj, but now the couple lives separately.

“What nonsense is she talking? It’s absolute rubbish”, Yograj Singh, who represented India in one Test and six ODIs was quoted by The Deccan Chronicle.

“I’m a father of four children and none of them are drug-addicts”. Yuvraj, as also my other three children, are like lions. They don’t eat grass...,” added Yograj Singh.

Yograj took a jibe at Akansha and advised her to sort out her own personal matters first.“The lady who is accusing Yuvraj, should put her own house in order before alleging something”, says Yograj.

Yuvraj Singh incidentally was ignored by the Indian selectors for the first two Tests even after scoring more than five hundred runs in 4 Ranji matches. But his father, firmly believes that a comeback is just around the corner. “These allegations will not hamper the chances of my son’s comeback, he will certainly comeback and play for India!” asserts Yograj.

There were speculations that the swashbuckling left hander’s lifestyle was a probable cause of his cancer but Oncologists have ruled out that possibility.
