Windies Star Batsman Marries Long-Time Girlfriend, Shares Pic From Beautiful Wedding Ceremony

Katherina and Nicholas Pooran have known each other since childhood and both were dating each other for the last several years. In November 2020, Pooran got engaged to Katharina and shared a picture on social media to announce the same.

West Indies' star cricketer Nicholas Pooran has tied the knot with his girlfriend Kathrina Miguel in a beautiful wedding ceremony. Pooran has also shared a picture with his wife from the special day, on social media.

After the end of last year's IPL, Pooran had proposed to Katharina. Now after the sudden postponement of IPL 2021, the hard-hitting batsman made his fiancé, his life partner.

"Jesus has blessed me with many things in this life. None greater than having you in my life. Welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Pooran," Nicholas Pooran wrote on Instagram.

In IPL 2021, Nicholas Pooran failed to deliver with the bat. This season, playing for Punjab Kings, he could score only 28 runs in 7 IPL matches. IPL 2021 was postponed by the BCCI in view of increasing Coronavirus cases inside IPL bio-bubble. Now the BCCI has announced that the remaining matches of the IPL will be played in UAE in September-October window.

Now once again, Nicholas Pooran will have a chance to return to form.  It will be interesting to see whether Pooran will be able to return to his rhythm in the second phase of the IPL. Overall in his entire IPL career, Pooran has played a total of 28 matches and scored 549 runs during this period.
