WATCH: The most unlucky dismissal in cricket
New Delhi: Bangladesh decided to bowl first in the third ODI against Sri Lanka with an eye on historic series win. Bangladesh lead three-match series 1-0. Bangladesh skipper mashrafe Mortaza decided to put the hosts to bat first, despite the fact that teams batting first having scored more than 300 runs in last two ODI’s Opening pair of Gunathilaka and Tharanga started the Sri Lankan inning on high note and stitched 76-run stand between them. Gunathilaka gave up his wicket to Mehedi Hasan while, Tharanga was sent back by Taskin Ahmed. However, it was Dinesh Chandimal’s dismissal that made the headlines. Chandimal was bit lazy while completing the run and Mushfiqur took over the opportunity very well to run out the aggressive batsman. This got to be one of the most unluckiest dismissals of his career but the credit goes exclusively to Mushfiqur who converted less than a half-chance into a wicket! Watch the video here:
