MS Dhoni fans were in for a bit of surprise but were overjoyed at the same time as their cricketing hero made a rare appearance on social media, creating a frenzy of sorts on the internet. In a video which went online and came in as a pleasant surprise for many die hard 'Mahi' fans, the former Indian skipper has been seen doning a black beard but has got his hair trimmed. The new look makes Dhoni looks much younger as compared to past pics of the cricketer that had gone viral on social media. Dhoni, who has been rather close guarded and private in his affairs amid the lockdown isn't much active on social media and his latest video has left many surprised. He hasn't used his Twitter account since February 14. On the same day, he used Instagram for the last time. Amid the current Covid-19 enduced lockdown, Dhoni preferred to stay away from limelight and has spend quality time with his family. His look in one of the videos shared by Sakshi, his wife, surprised the fans as Dhoni looked unrecognizable. His latest look will surely enthrall the fans. Check out - Recently, the fans got to see another look of Dhoni when he was seen driving a bike and waving out to his fans close to his residence. On the same day, another photo of Dhoni celebrating his birthday caught fans' attention. Dhoni, who took a self imposed break from international cricket has been away from representing India for over a year now. He was likely to make his comeback in IPL 2020, which got indefinitely postponed due to coronavirus pandemic. He last played for Team India in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup. Dhoni was confirmed to take a break following the ICC event as he was to serve the Indian army in Kashmir. He was unavailable for selection for the T20I series against South Africa and Bangladesh. Dhoni later went on to miss the series against West Indies, Sri Lanka and Australia.
