WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah scalps maiden World Cup wicket in his 50th ODI; removes Hashim Amla
Bumrah was at his lethal best in India's World Cup opener against South Africa, sending both the openers, Quinton De Kock and Hashim Amla, back to the pavilion
Indian seamer Jasprit Bumrah attained a personal landmark during India's World Cup opener against South Africa on Wednesday which also turned out to be his 50th appearance in the blue jersey.
Bumrah achieved the milestone when he took to the field against South Africa at Rose Bowl in Southampton.
On this occasion, the 24-year-old seemed to be at his lethal best as he claimed his maiden World Cup wicket in the form of Hashim Amla.
During the 4th over, Bumrah delivered a good length delivery outside off, making Amla defend from the crease. The extra bounce took the outside edge, and Rohit Sharma made no mistake grabbing the catch at the second slip.
