Rituraj Gaikwad: The young batter made a name for himself in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 with his explosive batting skills and later went on to score the maximum runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Gaikwad tops the list of batters with most runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy by scoring 603 runs in just 5 matches with help of five centuries. His highest score was 168 runs. He might get picked in Team India for the ODI series against South Africa.
2. Rishi Dhawan: Himachal Pradesh's senior opener Rishi Dhawan is at number two in the elite list after scoring 458 runs in 8 matches. However, he could not score a century in this season and his highest score was an unbeaten 91. He also finished the tournament as second-highest wicket-taker.
