New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), under newly-appointed skipper Faf du Plessis, had a mixed start to this season. The Bangalore-based franchise started its IPL 2022 campaign with a loss against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in a high-scoring thriller. After this, they made a solid comeback by securing their first win against last year's runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a low-scoring game.

Ahead of their third IPL 2022 match on Tuesday, ex-RCB skipper posted a heartwarming picture of Bangalore's loyal fanbase. The picture posted by Virat Kohli on Instagram features himself, Faf du Plessis, and Mohammed Siraj. The star batter wrote in the captain of his post, "Seasonal selfie 1".
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will clash against a confident Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede stadium. RCB will aim to break RR's winning streak when they lock horns. Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan so far remains unbeaten in IPL 2022 after winning both their first two games against Sunrises Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians (MI), respectively.
South Africa's veteran cricketer Faf du Plessis took over the reins from Virat Kohli who led RCB from 2013-2021. It was last year when Kohli announced his decision to step down as RCB captain.
