Ravindra Jadeja's epic reply to one-match ban

Ravindra Jadeja's epic reply to one-match ban

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja took to Twitter on Monday to respond to one-match ban imposed by the ICC for breaching code of conduct.

The 28-year-old ‘s all round performance in the Colombo Test helped his side seal series 2-0 and eventually win the Man of the Match award but his celebration was cut short after he was found guilty of ‘dangerous play’ as he threw ball towards centurion Dimuth Karunaratne, who had not left the crease during Sri Lanka’s second innings.

The left arm spinner is clearly upset with the one-match suspension and took few lines from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ to launch a cryptic attack on International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jadeja wrote, “"Hum sharif kya hue puri duniya hi badmash ho gayi (The entire world has gone notorious just when I decide to turn good)."

This is not the first time Jadeja has been involved in controversy. He was already carrying three demerit points after running on the pitch during the Indore test against New Zealand.

India will take on Sri Lanka in third Test match at Pallekele on August 12.
