Shadab Khan's Fitting Reply To Twitter User Criticizing Him For Playing 'Foreign Leagues'

A Twitter user lashed out at Pakistan's star all-rounder Shadab Khan, accusing him of missing national matches to play 'foreign leagues'.

Pakistan vs New Zealand: Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team is currently playing a three-match ODI series against New Zealand at home. The hosts currently lead the series 1-0 after a six-wicket win over the Kiwis in the series opener in Karachi.

Star all-rounder Shadab Khan, one of the most consistent players in white-ball format, is not playing the PAK vs NZ series. He was not included in the team due to a finger injury, which he sustained during a Big Bash League (BBL) game between Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers and is expected to be out of action for at least two-three weeks.

Ahead of Pakistan vs New Zealand first ODI, Monday, Shadab took to Twitter to share an update about his finger injury and also expressed his excitement for the international debut of leg-spinner Usama Mir. Meanwhile, a Twitter user lashed out at Shadab, accusing him of missing national matches to play 'foreign leagues'.

"Playing foreign leagues for money. Getting injured. Missing national team matches," the user replied to Shadab's tweet.

Shadab comes up with a fitting reply to shut down the troll.

"Mere BBL experience ki wajah se meri performance Australia mai achi hui world cup mai. Playing in different conditions makes u better. Jahan mai national team ke liye select hon ga wahan hamesha national team ke liye khelun ga. Allah aap ko hamesha khush rakhay (My performance in World Cup was good because I have played BBL in Australia. Playing in different conditions makes you better. I will always play for the national team when I am selected. May God bless you)," Shadab responded.

Talking about PAK vs NZ 1st ODI, a record-setting fifer from Naseem Shah and remarkable knocks from Babar Azam (66) and Mohammad Rizwan (77) helped Pakistan beat New Zealand by 6 wickets.
