National Games 2023 live streaming, squads, schedule, venues: The 37th season of the National Games will be officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (October 26) at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, South Goa. Key dignitaries present during this event will include Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Goa Sports Minister Govind Gaude, and Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik. National Games 2023 opening ceremony is scheduled to commence at 6:30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).

The 37th National Games, being hosted for the first time in Goa, will feature athletes from 28 states participating in over 43 different sports disciplines in the five cities of Goa: Mapusa, Margao, Panaji, Ponda and Vasco. Golf and cycling competitions will be organized in New Delhi. Over 10,000 athletes from across the country will come together to compete, with 49 percent of them being women. In addition to state teams, sports teams from the Indian Armed Forces and Services will also take part in the National Games, with Services having emerged as the victors in the last four editions.
