New Delhi: With the IPL being postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak, CSK skipper M.S. Dhoni left Chennai amid huge fanfare. The IPL 2020 is very important for the former Indian skipper. Dhoni has not played for India since their 2019 World Cup semifinal defeat to New Zealand in July 2019.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly while addressing media personnel after the conclusion of the IPL governing council meeting at Mumbai said that the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will be a truncated one amid the coronavirus scare. Ganguly added that the IPL committee will keep on reassessing the health situation in the nation every week and accordingly take a call on how best can the tournament be conducted.
