Michael Schumacher Health Update: The German racer's condition has been kept confidential and away from the public eye ever since he sustained head injuries in 2013 and later went into coma.
Ex-Formula One boss Eddie Jordan ended up providing a health update of his friend Michael Schumacher and it is not something his fans and well-wishers would have liked to hear. Nearly a decade after he had slipped into coma following a ski-crash, Jordan, who had handed the German racer his debut back in 1991, said that the F1 icon "is there but not there."
The 74-year-old explained that the senior Schumacher's health condition is such that he is "not able to be part of the family" which hints at the poor health status of the seven-time F1 champion. It is pertinent to note that any updates on Schumacher's condition has been kept confidential and away from the public eye ever since he sustained head injuries in 2013 and later went into coma.

"As far as I'm concerned, I was touched by it and the reason I was touched by it was because it can't be easy knowing that your father is not able to be part of the family, he's there but he's not there," Jordan told sports betting company OLBG, talking about his son Mick.
"I have my own view that I don't want to make public but my guess is that Mick showed elating compassion and the way he spoke about his father when the season was not going particularly well for him, he's been dropped for somebody else, and that's a tough decision, he has another fight to come back and to make his name, climb up that ladder again," he added.
In another major revelation, Jordan said that he had even asked Schumacher's wife Corinna the permission to pay his friend a visit, however, he wasn't allowed. He explained that only direct family was allowed to meet him at this stage.
