If Chahal, with 199 IPL wickets so far, picks at least one wicket in upcoming RR vs MI IPL 2024 match, he will become the first bowler in the world to take 200 wickets in Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chahal started his career in IPL with Mumbai Indians (MI). Later, he went on to represent Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for many seasons, until 2014. The leggie was then acquired by RR in 2022 IPL auction.
