The eliminator of the IPL 2023 was played between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants and there was one guy who hogged all the limelight by guiding Mumbai to a 81-run win over LSG on Wednesday. The Uttarakhand-based speedster Akash Madhwal ended the game with the figures of 5/5 in 3.3 overs, propelling his team Mumbai Indians to a facile win.
Wishes poured in for the youngster after he took a fifer against the star-studded Lucknow side. Mumbai Indian’s stalwart bowler Jasprit Bumrah was elated to see Akash’s bowling in the IPL 2023 Eliminator on Wednesday.
He took to his Twitter handle and wished the MI’s bowler. “What a spell from Akash Madhwal. Congratulations, @mipaltan, great win”, wrote Bumrah.

Madhwal’s lethal bowling saw LSG getting restricted to just 101 runs with more than three overs to spare. Marcus Stoinis was the star with the bat for them as he made 40.
