Rohit Sharma Teases Shardul Thakur For Late Arrival To Practice Ahead Of MI vs LSG Clash — WATCH

Rohit Sharma shared a playful moment with Shardul Thakur, teasing him for arriving late to a joint training session ahead of the MI vs LSG IPL 2025 clash.

India captain and Mumbai Indians (MI) star batter Rohit Sharma shared a light-hearted moment with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Shardul Thakur after the latter turned up late for a joint training session ahead of their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match.

In a video posted by MI’s social media team, Rohit is seen teasing Shardul for his late arrival at the Wankhede Stadium before their April 27 clash.

As Shardul walked in, Rohit, who can be seen sitting alongside LSG mentor Zaheer Khan, greeted him with a loud "Kya re hero" and playfully called him out for arriving late. "Abhi aa raha hai, ghar ka team hai kya? (Hey, hero, you're coming now? Is this your home team?)," Rohit can be heard saying further.

The five-time champions, after losing four of their first five matches, have rediscovered their form just in time, winning four games on the trot. With 10 points from nine matches, MI are now aiming to get their fifth consecutive win by defeating Lucknow in a crucial IPL 2025 clash on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. In their earlier meeting this season, LSG had defeated them by 12 runs.

Shardul Thakur has been in impressive form with the ball for LSG. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has rediscovered his touch with the bat for MI, perfectly aligning with the team's resurgence in IPL 2025. Shardul has already claimed 14 wickets this season for LSG, while Rohit has slammed back-to-back half-centuries against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, returning to his best at the top of the order.

Their strong performances have only heightened expectations for the upcoming MI vs LSG clash, where both players are expected to play pivotal roles. With both teams now entering the critical phase of the tournament, every win becomes crucial in their race for a playoff spot in IPL 2025.
