RCB Vs PBKS: Punjab Kings have won the toss and opt to bowl first vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, April 18.

Both sides are looking for a win tonight, as the battle for playoffs is heating up.

There is no homecoming for Glenn Maxwell, as PBKS have brought in Marcus Stoinis as his replacement.

For RCB, they have opted to play the same Playing XI.

Playing conditions have been revised for the fixture, as the rain has played a bit of a spoilsport.

Both sides will play 14 overs-each, and the powerplay will last for only 4 overs.

"We are going to bowl first. Obviously, this is a rain-interrupted game, and also the overs have been reduced. We also want to have an idea about how the pitch will play. Bowling first is the right option given the conditions. There is one change. Marcus Stoinis comes in for Glenn Maxwell. Also, Harpreet Brar comes in."

"We need to have the right players in the right place, especially the angles on the field, given the venue. We have discussed a lot about it in the team meetings."

Rajat Patidar (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain):

"Well, I think we have to be smart in adapting the conditions and also with the situation of the game. We will try our best. I don't think so. The surface looks pretty hard and it will be a bit sticky. We will look to put a decent total on the board. I am a bit confused with the Impact sub rule. As of now, we are playing with the same team."
