Pant Must Take His Time To Recover Fully Before Comeback On The Pitch: Ganguly
The Delhi-based player met with a serious accident while driving on NH-58 on December 30.
Former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly commented on start batter Rishabh Pant and said that Pant should take his time in order to heal properly.
According to the press release, Delhi Capitals Director of cricket said, “I am sure that the national team is missing him as well. He’s young and he has got a lot of time left in his career. He’s a special player and he must take his time to heal properly. We wish him all the best and I’ll meet him as well.”
The Delhi-based player met with a serious accident while driving on NH-58 on December 30. He sustained multiple injuries on his knee and ankle. He is still recuperating from the injuries he got. Since Pant is injured and will not be taking part in the upcoming season of IPL, Delhi Capitals have named David Warner as the skipper.

“David Warner is looking forward to leading the side. He’s always up for the challenge and he’s a great player. He has got a lot of runs and experience under his belt, ” said Ganguly.
“It’s been great to work with the boys and I am looking forward to the season starting. Net practice is good, but we want to get into match mode. And Ricky has been fantastic. He brings a lot of intensity during training.”
