Mumbai Indians Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Naman Dhir, Corbin Bosch, Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Karn Sharma.

Here's What Both Captains Said During Toss

Rishabh Pant (Lucknow Super Giants Captain):

"We are bowling first. We feel the wicket is still on the batting side. It is a day game. We want to make use of the slightly drier conditions under the sun. It will get better for batting during the second innings. We are in a good space, and personally, it is easier to put the team ahead, which makes it easier."

"(On Head-to-Head record) Definitely, it feels good. Personally, I don't think about it too much. We are taking every day as a new day. Eventually, you want to play good cricket. Just one change. Instead of Shardul, Mayank comes in. Definitely, it is a roller coaster of a tournament for us. We are just playing positive cricket and sticking around with the process."

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain):

"Obviously, we were planning to bowl. But looking at the heat, we don't mind batting first. It's just a mindset. What we have spoken in the group is that as children, we have enjoyed playing in this heat. It's about hydrating and using the energy in the right way."

"The ESA has been very special. This initiative by Mrs. Nita Ambani has been really special. They get an opportunity after many years. They have to wait in the line. Once they get the opportunity, it's a lifetime memory for them. An additional motivation for us to perform in front of them."

"I do remmeber that it was in 2015 that I came to Mumbai Indians. That momentum really helps you. But in IPL, every game matters. You have to do the right thing. But as you said, the momentum really helps."

"I got two changes. Karn comes back. Mitch (Santner) misses out. He got a little niggle on his injury. In place of him, Borch makes his debut."
