LSG Owner Posts Nostalgic Pic Of 6-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi After His Historic IPL Hundred
LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka shared a 2017 throwback of 6-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi after the 14-year-old's record-breaking IPL century.

Rajasthan Royals' 14-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, etched his name in the record books by becoming the youngest player ever to score a century in both IPL and T20 cricket. Playing just his third IPL match, Suryavanshi smashed a blistering 101 off 38 balls against Gujarat Titans on April 28 (Monday), reaching his hundred in just 35 deliveries — the fastest by an Indian and the second-fastest in IPL history. Following his historic feat, Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka shared a touching throwback photo of a 6-year-old Vaibhav cheering for Rising Pune Supergiant back in 2017.
Goenka took to social media to share a nostalgic photo of a 6-year-old Vaibhav from 2017, cheering for Rising Pune Supergiant — Goenka’s former and now-defunct IPL franchise. Goenka expressed admiration for Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s performance, and extended his best wishes.

His ton also helped Rajasthan to put a five-match losing streak to bed as they defeated Gujarat Titans by eight wickets.
Suryavanshi's explosive 101 off just 38 balls featured 11 sixes and seven fours, with a remarkable 94 runs coming through boundaries — an astonishing feat in only his third appearance in the high-pressure tournament. Earlier, Suryavanshi grabbed headlines when he smashed the first ball of his IPL career for a six to LSG’s Shardul Thakur in his debut match for Rajasthan Royals.
