SRH had been underperforming for the past several IPL seasons. In 2021, Hyderabad finished at the bottom of the table with 11 defeats in 14 matches. The following year, in 2022, they finished in 8th place. This was SRH's best performance in the last three IPL seasons. Now, SRH has made a remarkable comeback and reached the finals after a long gap of six years.
