IPL 2025: KKR won the IPL 2024, but can the franchise join an elite list by retaining the title in 2025? Let's find out.

IPL 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders are the reigning champions of the Indian Premier League, and stand a beautiful chance of retaining their title, as their core team from the title-winning side is still with them.

Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Manish Pandey, Anukul Roy, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Vaibhav Arora, and Varun Chakravarthy will once again don the purple shirt in the 2025 edition.

Only three sides in the history of the Indian Premier League managed to win the title on multiple occasions, and those franchises are: Kolkata Knight Riders; Mumbai Indians; Chennai Super Kings.
