IPL 2024: Former Mumbai Indians captain and current top-scorer of the side, Rohit Sharma, on Sunday, April 14, scored an exceptional unbeaten ton against Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 fixture, but his century went in vain as Mumbai Indians feel short by 20 runs against the reigning IPL champions, as no other batter managed to support the ‘Hitman’, who stayed at the crease from the first ball to the last ball.

Rohit Sharma is having a not-so-good time at Mumbai Indians right now and with mega-auction coming up next year, the 'Hitman' is feared of being released or not retained by the five-time IPL champions (all under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma), as Hardik Pandya had already replaced him as the skipper of the side before the commencement of IPL 2024.

However, a clip has now resurfing on the internet, which is posted by a user on X (formerly Twitter) in a reply to KKR's tweet for Rohit Sharma and the clip goes back in time, when Rohit Sharma, in an interview, confessed his affection for Eden Gardens and that if he gets a chance to another IPL side, it will be KKR.
