IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange & Purple Cap: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered a thumping victory by 78 runs over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 on April 28, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant 98-run knock in the first innings that helped CSK post a formidable target of 213 runs.
With the win, CSK made a leap in the IPL 2024 points table as they went from sixth position to the third. SRH slipped from the third spot to the fourth in the IPL 2024 points table. Things are getting interesting now as there are now five teams stuck at 10 points with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), CSK, SRH, Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals all having five wins.
