IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Here's the updated IPL 2024 points table, highest run-getters and wicket-takers list of the IPL 2024 after the CSK vs LSG match in Chennai on April 23.

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange & Purple Cap: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured their second consecutive victory by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) with a remarkable performance led by Marcus Stoinis, who scored an unbeaten 124 runs off 63 balls, guiding his team to a six-wicket win. CSK hosted LSG for the 39th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 on April 23 (Tuesday) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. They faced each other in their previous IPL 2024 fixture too, with LSG emerging as the winner on that occasion as well.

CSK were asked to bat first and with the help of skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad’s 60-ball 108 run innings along with a quickfire cameo of 66 runs off 27 balls by Shivam Dube, CSK set the target of 211 in 20 overs for LSG. In reply, LSG lost some early wickets but Marcus Stoinis' outstanding century guided them to a consecutive win over CSK.

With the win LSG replaced CSK in the top four as they now have five wins in eight matches whereas CSK have four wins in eight matches.
