Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star and former India captain, MS Dhoni has landed in Chennai before leaving to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The IPL 2021 is set to begin on September 19, 2021, and the CSK team will be leaving for the Middle East on 14 August, as per some reports.
Before the CSK contingent leaves for UAE, Chennai's favourite boy - "Thala" MS Dhoni - has landed in the southern city. He was spotted at the airport and was surrounded by n number of fans and media. Since MSD retired from international cricket, it has become difficult for fans to get a glimpse of him as he only plays in the IPL.
Dhoni's fans were excited to see their captain in their city.

Dhoni was spotted with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva at the Chennai airport. It was after a long that fans were able to get a glimpse of MS Dhoni. After the IPL got cancelled, MS Dhoni has been living at his Ranchi farmhouse with his wife and kids.
The IPL 2021 season was cancelled mid-way due to the rising cases of Covid-19 inside the bio-bubble. Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai would be the three venues to host the rest of the 31 IPL matches. Sharjah will be hosting the eliminator and second qualifier on 11 and 13 October while, the finals and first qualifier will be hosted by Dubai on 10th and 15th October.
