'India Is A Special Country Going Through A Very Difficult Time': Jos Buttler Bids Emotional Farewell

England batsman, Jos Buttler who represented Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021 is all set to go back to England. But he has left an emotional message on Twitter before leaving. Check out below.

New Delhi: Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) announced that IPL 2021 has been suspended due to the rising cases of Covid-9 among IPL cricketers. After the announcement, many foreign cricketers have started heading back to their home countries. England batsman, Jos Buttler who represented Rajasthan Royals in the IPL is also one of the cricketers returning back to England. Before bidding adieu, Jos Buttler thanked India for welcoming him and also appealed to be safe.

The 30-year old English cricketer took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards India. He wrote: "India is a special country going through a very difficult time. Thank you for welcoming me and my family like you always do. Please stay safe and look after yourselves"

Jos Buttler has been in India since late January as England played their first Test match in February. So, the Englishman must have got accustomed to the Indian conditions by now.

His emotional message resonated well with the fans who also sent their best wishes to the England player.

Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly said that it is too early to speak on the return of IPL. He also said, "They (people associated with IPL bio-bubble) are all professional hands. Professional hands around the world can’t control it (virus penetrating the bubble). When it was happening in England (the second wave of the pandemic), there were cases in the English Premier League. Manchester City, Arsenal players got infected. Matches got rescheduled. Because their season is six months long, they can do it. But our season is tight. Since we have to (release) players to their respective countries, rescheduling was very difficult."
