The Indian all-rounder started feeling unwell, and was hence, replaced by the KKR pacer, a move that proved to be the turning point of the match, as Harshit Rana scalped the prized wickets of Liam Livingstone, Jacob Bethell, and Jamie Overton to turn the match into India's favour.

His T20I debut ended with the figures of 3/33 in four overs, as India sealed a 15-run win in Pune.

"It is a dream debut for me. When Dube came back, after 2 overs it was told to me that I will be the concussion sub. For a long time, I was waiting to prove myself. I didn't get much time to think, just wanted to deliver for my team. I have a lot of experience of bowling at the death in the IPL, that helped me a lot," said Harshit Rana.

Here's What Both Captains Said During Post-Match Presentation Ceremony

Jos Buttler (England Captain):

"Yeah, I think we started brilliantly. We took wickets in powerplay and then got runs in the batting powerplay. We were in a great position, I feel we should have gone on to win the game. It is disappointing, we did good things in the game. I dropped a catch of Dube first ball, then he played a brilliant innings. With the bat, we were in a fantastic position and lost a couple of wickets quickly."

"I think we have to double down on the way we play, I am impressed with how we were committed to the brand of cricket we have played. I think if we can commit more, we will win a lot more games."

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain):

"Absolutely. It was a top effort from everyone in the field. Obviously it was a great crowd here. From the start till the end, they were always behind us. It was not possible without them. Ah, we did not want to go back after 10/3. Boys know what brand of cricket they wanted to play. Three wickets in an over is not good but the way Hardik and Dube batted, it was great."

"I mean this is one thing we have been talking about. We want everyone to express themselves and bat the same way as they bat in the nets. I am pleased that we are moving in the right direction. I always knew that post the powerplay, between the 7-10 overs, we could control the game. Post the drinks break, unfortunately Shivam Dube couldn't come inside and Harshit Rana came in as a third seamer and delivered it for us."

"(On the 5th T20I at Mumbai) Hahaha. Lot of fireworks I am sure."
