CSK Pacer Deepak Chahar Set To Marry Fiancée Jaya On June 1
A wedding invitation card has gone viral on social media which suggests Deepak Chahar will tie the knot with fiancée Jaya Bharadwaj on June 1.
New Delhi: Millions of fans across the world watched a viral video of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star bowler Deepak Chahar proposing to his girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj post an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Chennai and Punjab Kings (PBKS), last year in October at Dubai. CSK lost that match but the adorable moment between the couple won the hearts of fans.
Now, months later, several media reports have suggested that Deepak Chahar will tie the knot with his fiancée Jaya on June 1. A wedding invitation card has gone viral on social media which states Deepak will marry Jaya on June 1.
Last year, the official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings shared a video wherein Deepak can be seen proposing Jaya. Bhardwaj was beaming with joy as Chahar surprised her by presenting a ring. She immediately said yes when the cricketer popped the question.

For the unversed, Chahar has been ruled out of cricketing action for the next two months after suffering a back injury during his recovery at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy (NCA). Chahar was CSK's most expensive buy in the IPL 2022 mega auction. The franchise had retained him for a jaw-dropping INR 14 crore. Unfortunately, he couldn't play a single game for his team due to his struggles with his recovery post-injury.
From June 9, the Indian cricket team has to play a five-match T20 series against South Africa. As for Deepak, it will take time for him to recover, maybe a month now. Although, officially no such information has been revealed yet by BCCI or Deepak himself.
